Our mission is to provide Wisconsin residents and businesses with solar energy solutions for their homes and businesses, while simplifying the process for our customers and providing exceptional customer service. We have been servicing the Fox Valley since 2008. |

Our Story We installed our original solar electric system on our home in Appleton, WI in 2008. We've updated a large appliances (refrigerator, freezer) with more energy efficient models, switched to a natural gas clothes dryer (and weather permitting clothesline drying,) and added an electric vehicle. After two years of having our electric vehicle, our solar system has produced about 60% of our home's and EV's electrical needs annually. In 2020, we upgraded our solar electric system. We increased the size of our solar system to cover 100% of our annual needs and added two Tesla Powerwalls for improve our use of solar power at night and provide for backup power should the grid go down. Our system is sized for future EV loads. We hope that our home will become an example of how solar energy can be a viable method of offsetting a family's daily electrical demand, reducing fossil fuel energy use, and educating the next generation about renewable energy. We are living with solar and loving it! Our home is part of the ASES National Solar home Tour and is available by appointment only. |
